Expandi

Expandi interface

We personally use Expandi at SalesBread, and it’s a great outreach tool. We love it becasue it has “safe limits” in place.

This means that you won’t get your account restricted by LinkedIn.

You can also build easy sequences, schedule when your messages get sent, and track conversions.

Expandi also works for cold email outreach, too, and you can send personalized GIFs and videos.

Features

  • Cloud-based software

  • Dedicated country-based IP-address

  • Profile Auto Warm-up When y

  • Unlimited Campaigns Number

  • Campaign Prioritization

  • Centralized dashboard

Pricing

The pricing is also really affordable. For just $99 a month, you will have access to a ton of features.

Such as cloud-based software, a dedicated country-based IP-address and auto warm-up tools.

Review

Expandi has a 4.2-star rating on G2. And many users mentioned how great the customer support was, but that there are some technical issues sometimes.

Outreach

Outreach homepage screenshot

Outreach isn’t your usual everyday sales outreach software.

If you’re juggling too many sales tools and struggling to keep your pipeline organized, Outreach helps keep everything structured.

It gives you a proper system for sales engagement, with everything from emails to sales calls to follow-ups in one place. On the other hand, it’s not something you just “plug in” and go.

It takes time to set up properly, and some teams might find it complicated.

It also leans heavily into AI agents and AI workflows. In theory, this helps reps focus on the right prospects and next steps.

It works well, but you need to make sure that your data is clean and your sales process is already defined.

If not, it can feel like overkill.

Key features

  • Outreach is built to manage the entire outreach process, not just send emails.

  • Multichannel outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn) in one place

  • Built-in conversation intelligence for reviewing sales calls

  • It has automation features to automate outreach and follow-ups

  • AI-driven insights and predictive analytics for deal prioritization

  • Detailed analytics and reporting with customizable reporting dashboards

  • Solid crm integration, so everything stays in sync

Pricing

Outreach pricing

Outreach doesn’t list pricing publicly, which usually tells you what you need to know. This is an enterprise tool.

If you’re a smaller team trying to scale campaigns quickly, this might feel heavy (and expensive) for what you actually need.

Review

According to G2, Outreach has a 4.3-star rating out of 5. Users often mention how easy Outreach is to use once you’re up and running.

The CRM integration is another positive aspect, and it makes tracking conversations and managing follow-ups much easier.

That said, there is a bit of a ramp-up period. New users can find it overwhelming at first, and it usually takes some time before teams feel fully comfortable using the platform.

Outreach review
reply.io homepage screenshot

Reply.io, is a mix between a lightweight outbound tool and a more structured sales engagement platform.

It’s a good fit for teams that want to automate outreach across multiple channels. It’s quite a flexible tool, which we liked.

You can run cold email campaigns, add in LinkedIn touches, SMS, or calls, and manage everything inside one platform.

For sales reps, that means less tab-switching and a more consistent sales process.

It also leans heavily into AI agents and AI workflows, especially around writing sequences and prioritizing prospects. This might be a nice feature for some teams that use AI more heavily.

It’s more structured than basic cold email tools, but not as rigid or complex as full enterprise platforms.

Key features

Reply covers most of what you need to run outbound at scale without overcomplicating things.

Here are the key features that stand out:

  • Multichannel outreach across email, LinkedIn, SMS, and calls

  • Built-in automation features to automate outreach and follow-ups

  • AI-powered sequence writing and personalization using AI workflows

  • Lead discovery tools act as a built-in lead finder

  • Unified inbox to manage conversations across channels

  • Strong deliverability tools, including email warm-up and inbox rotation

  • Native crm integration with popular tools

  • Detailed analytics and reporting with clear reporting dashboards

Pricing

reply.io pricing

Plans start lower than most enterprise tools, with different tiers depending on whether you want basic email outreach, full multichannel, or AI-powered sales agents.

That makes it a good option for teams that want to scale campaigns without committing to a high-cost sales engagement platform too early.

There is also a free 14-day trial, which allows you to test the tool out.

Review

Reply.io review

Reply has a good rating according to G2. 4.6 stars in fact. Users have mentioned how intuitive the platform feels once you get into it, and the customer support gets a lot of credit for helping teams get set up quickly.

Running outreach campaigns is pretty straightforward, and the automation around follow-ups saves a lot of manual effort.

The analytics are also clear enough to actually be useful, especially when you’re trying to improve your outreach strategies over time.

Lemlist

Lemlist homepage screenshot

Lemlist is best described as a practical sales outreach software for teams that want to get campaigns live quickly.

It’s not trying to be a full enterprise sales engagement platform.

You can run multichannel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls), manage replies, and build simple workflows, all inside one platform.

For most sales teams, that’s enough to manage the entire outreach process without needing a complex setup.

Where Lemlist does stand out is in its deliverability.

It gives you the tools (warm-up, inbox rotation, sending controls), but you still need to run things properly. If your setup or sales process is messy, Lemlist won’t fix that for you.

Key features

Lemlist covers the core key features you need to run outbound consistently:

  • Built-in deliverability tools (email warm-up, inbox rotation, sending limits)

  • Multichannel outreach across email, LinkedIn, and calls

  • Campaign builder with simple sales workflows and follow-ups

  • Built-in lead finder for sourcing prospects

  • Centralized inbox to manage conversations

  • Native crm integration with popular systems

  • Basic analytics and reporting

Pricing

Lemlist pricing

Lemlist sits in a reasonable range compared to most sales outreach software platforms.

Plans typically fall between $60–$87 per user per month. They also have an enterprise tier available for larger teams and a 14-day free trial.

It’s a good option if you want to automate outreach and scale campaigns without committing to a more expensive sales engagement platform.

Review

Lemlist review

Users generally rate Lemlist highly, with a 4.6-star rating, and a lot of that comes down to how easy it is to get up and running.

The platform is straightforward to use, and the automation makes it much easier to manage outreach across different channels.

Hubsell

Hubsell homepage screenshot

Hubsell is a sales outreach software platform best suited for enterprise companies. Hubsell is built around one idea: relevance beats scale.

Rather than giving you massive databases and encouraging you to blast thousands of contacts, it focuses on helping you build smaller, more accurate lists and run targeted multichannel outreach.

In practice, that means your sales process becomes less about sending more messages… and more about reaching the right prospects at the right time.

Everything, from prospecting to outreach to tracking, sits inside one platform, so your sales teams aren’t jumping between multiple tools all day.

Key features

Hubsell is built to support a more focused, data-driven outbound motion.

Here are the key features that stand out:

  • Autonomous prospect sourcing with highly accurate, fresh data

  • Multichannel outreach across email and LinkedIn

  • AI-powered messaging and AI workflows for personalization

  • One-to-one sending designed to feel manual (not automated blasts)

  • Built-in lead finder and data enrichment

  • Campaign builder with structured workflows and follow-ups

  • Native crm integration and data syncing

  • Core analytics and reporting for tracking performance

Hubsell puts a lot of emphasis on data accuracy. The idea is that better data leads to better conversations, which ultimately drives more meetings and revenue.

Pricing

Hubsell is positioned closer to the higher end compared to simpler cold email tools. They don’t list their pricing on their website, but there is some pricing listed on G2.

Hubsell pricing

Pricing typically starts around €1440 for 1 seat per year, which puts it above entry-level tools but below most full enterprise platforms.

Review

Hubsell review

Hubsell has a 4.6-star rating on G2, and users have mentioned how easy it is to set up and work with.

Customer support also gets a lot of credit for helping teams get the most out of the platform. Users also mentioned that they really liked the automation feature.

That said, the interface isn’t always the most intuitive, and some users mention it can feel a bit confusing at times.

Smartlead

Smartlead homepage screenshot

Smartlead is a cold email outreach platform that’s been built for high-volume outreach.

Trusted by over 31,000 businesses, Smartlead is built around the idea that cold email can be a reliable, repeatable revenue channel if you have the right infrastructure to support it.

Smartlead gives you the engine to scale fast without your emails ending up in the spam folder.

They have standout deliverability features, which include unlimited sending addresses, warm-up capabilities, IP rotation, and built-in email verification tools.

The “unibox”, or master inbox, consolidates all your outreach channels, responses, follow-ups, and conversions into one centralized mailbox, so your team isn’t bouncing between a dozen different inboxes trying to track who replied to what.

In short, if your goal is to run high-volume cold email campaigns efficiently and cost-effectively, Smartlead is built for exactly that.

Key features

  • Unlimited mailboxes and email accounts across all plans

  • Unlimited email warm-up is included in the basic plan

  • Automated mailbox rotation to protect sender reputation

  • Centralized master inbox (unibox) for managing all replies in one place

  • AI-powered personalization and ChatGPT-4 integration (Pro plan)

  • Dynamic sequences with condition-based follow-ups

  • A/B testing with manual percentage distribution

  • CRM integrations with Zapier, Make, N8N, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive

  • Multichannel outreach across email, SMS, and social platforms, though these channels are still relatively basic compared to its core email focus.

Pricing

Smarltead pricing

Smartlead is one of the more affordable options in this space.

Plans start at $39/month for the Basic tier, stepping up to $94/month for Pro and $174/month for the Custom plan aimed at agencies and enterprises.

If you pay for the year, it will save you around 17%. They also have a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.

Review

Smartlead review

Smartlead has a 4.6-star rating on G2 with 400+ reviews.

Users mention how easy it is to get campaigns up and running, and the deliverability features get a lot of praise, particularly the warm-up function and the ability to connect unlimited mailboxes without paying extra.

Quickmail

Quickmail homepage screenshot

At SalesBread, we absolutely love Quickmail. It’s a tool that we personally use. QuickMail has been in the cold email game since 2014.

While newer tools are still figuring out deliverability, QuickMail has spent over a decade obsessing over it.

The whole platform is built around one core promise: getting your emails into the inbox, not the spam folder.

What makes QuickMail a bit different is how it sends. Rather than routing emails through its own servers, QuickMail sends directly from your inbox, whether that’s Gmail, Outlook, or anything else.

It works well for solo operators, growing sales teams, and agencies running outreach across multiple clients.

The platform scales without forcing you to add per-seat costs, which is a big deal if you’re building a team.

Key features

  • Unlimited email senders and LinkedIn accounts (Growth and Agency plans)

  • Free email warm-up

  • Automated inbox rotation to protect sender reputation

  • Centralized inbox for managing all email and LinkedIn replies in one place

  • A/B testing with no need to pause or restart campaigns

  • CRM integrations with HubSpot and Pipedrive (Growth plan and above)

  • No per-seat fees — unlimited team members on all plans

  • White-label and multi-workspace support for agencies

Pricing

Quickmail pricing

QuickMail is one of the more accessible tools in this space, especially for teams just getting started.

The Starter plan runs $9/month for solo users, the Growth plan is $99/month with unlimited senders and users, and the Agency plan comes in at $299/month with multi-workspace support and higher sending limits.

They also offer a 14-day free trial across all plans with no automatic charge when it ends, which is great.

Review

Quickmail review

Users praise QuickMail for its strong automation features, detailed reporting, and high deliverability, and many long-term users say it’s the tool they keep coming back to, even after testing alternatives.

Quickmail scores a 4.7-star rating on G2.

That said, it’s not without its rough edges. The dashboard can feel quite technical for newcomers, and connecting email accounts with the right domain and security settings can be a bit of a challenge to get right initially.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Linkedin sales navigator homepage screenshot

LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a tool that all outbounders should have.

With over 860 million members and 60 million companies across 200 countries and territories, the data advantage Sales Navigator has over every other tool in this space is almost impossible to replicate.

No third-party database is going to match LinkedIn’s own data, because LinkedIn is the source.

The platform is built around one core idea: finding the right people at the right companies, and reaching out to them at exactly the right moment.

Real-time insights like job changes and company growth signals mean you’re not just targeting someone based on a static job title.

That said, Sales Navigator is a prospecting and intelligence tool first. It doesn’t send cold email campaigns, warm up your inbox, or automate outreach sequences.

If you want to do that, you’ll need to pair it with another tool in your stack.

Key features

  • 50+ advanced search filters for highly targeted lead and account searches

  • Real-time alerts when prospects change jobs, get promoted, or post content

  • Lead recommendations based on saved searches, surfacing new prospects automatically

  • Custom lead and account lists to organize your pipeline

  • 50 InMail credits per month to reach prospects without a connection

  • Smart Links for sharing content and tracking prospect engagement (Advanced plan)

  • Buyer intent signals to identify accounts actively researching solutions like yours

  • CRM integration with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics (Advanced and above)

Pricing

Sales Navigator sits at the premium end of the market.

The Core plan runs $99.99/month or $79.99/month on an annual plan.

The Advanced plan is $179.99/month, or $135/month annually.

Advanced Plus, which includes deeper CRM integration and enterprise features, is custom-priced and requires a demo.

There is a 30-day free trial is available.

Review

LinkedIn sales navigator review

Sales Navigator holds a 4.4-star rating on G2, and the feedback is pretty positive from sales teams who use LinkedIn as a core part of their outbound.

Users mention how it helps them identify and reach decision-makers faster, with better targeting than anything else available.

Just a word of caution, though, Sales Navigator can be incorrect with its data sometimes. It’s always a good idea to double-check.

This article, LinkedIn Sales Navigator Search Tips For 2026, shares some tips on how to use it the right way.

Salesloft

salesloft homepage screenshot

Salesloft is a full revenue orchestration platform, and can be used for your entire sales operation.

Founded in 2011 and now serving over 5,000 customers, including 3M, Stripe, IBM, and Google, Salesloft has grown well beyond its sales engagement roots.

The idea is straightforward: instead of your sales team piecing together half a dozen tools to manage outreach, pipeline, and performance, Salesloft tries to handle all of it in one place.

Reps get a structured daily workflow, managers get visibility across the whole team, and revenue leaders get the forecasting data they need to make confident decisions.

Salesloft’s strength is in orchestrating complex, multi-touch sales cycles at scale, which makes it a good fit for mid-market and enterprise teams, but likely overkill for smaller operations just looking to send cold email sequences.

Key features

  • Automated multichannel sequences combining email, calls, and social touches

  • AI-powered prioritization that tells reps what actions to take next based on buyer signals

  • Call recording, transcription, and AI-driven coaching insights for managers

  • Pipeline management and deal health tracking to spot what’s at risk

  • Revenue forecasting powered by real-time deal data and AI

  • Drift AI chat agents for converting website visitors into pipeline

  • CRM sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics

  • Advanced analytics and rep performance dashboards

  • AI agents that automate account research and lead generation (add-on)

Pricing

Salesloft doesn’t publish pricing on its website; you’ll need to go through their sales team for a quote.

There’s no free trial available, so you’ll want to be fairly confident it’s the right fit before committing.

Review

Salesloft review

Salesloft has a 4.5-star rating on G2.

Users praise the cadence workflow, the depth of Salesforce integration, and the way the platform structures a rep’s day without making outreach feel robotic.

The criticisms are worth paying attention to, though. Platform instability, performance issues, and a clunky interface come up regularly, and as for the price tag, that’s hard to brush off.

Saleshandy

Saleshandy homepage screenshot

Saleshandy has built a great reputation as one of the most accessible cold email platforms on the market.

Trusted by over 10,000 businesses, agencies, and sales teams worldwide positions itself as the tool that removes all the friction that usually comes with setting up cold outreach.

Buying domains, configuring DNS records, warming up inboxes, and Saleshandy bundles all of that into one place and tries to get you from zero to sending in under a day.

It works particularly well for solo founders, small sales teams, and agencies who want something that’s quick to set up, easy to use, and won’t break the bank.

Where it starts to feel its limits is when you need serious depth, like advanced deliverability, complex workflows, or tight CRM integration out of the box.

Key features

  • Unlimited email accounts and warm-up on all paid plans

  • Built-in B2B Lead Finder with 852M+ contacts and 42M+ companies, filterable by industry, revenue, tech stack, and more

  • AI Sequence Copilot for generating and personalizing email copy

  • Multichannel sequences across email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp, and other tasks

  • Automated follow-ups with condition-based triggers

  • Sender rotation to protect deliverability across multiple accounts

  • Spam word checker and sequence scoring built in

  • Unified inbox for managing all replies across all connected accounts

  • Built-in lightweight CRM with Kanban pipeline view (free)

  • Native integrations with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, and Salesforce (Pro plan and above)

Pricing

Saleshandy’s Outreach plans start at $25/month billed annually (or $36/month on a monthly basis) for the Starter tier, stepping up to $69/month for Pro and $139/month for Scale.

A Scale Plus plan for power users runs $219/month annually.

There is also a 7-day free trial that is available with no credit card needed.

Review

Saleshandy review

Saleshandy has a 4.6/5 on G2, and ease of use is the most commonly cited reason.

Users regularly note they can connect accounts, build a sequence, and start sending within an hour, with no implementation calls or onboarding consultants needed.

Users flag gaps in features that competitors have filled, like thread-style follow-up workflows and deeper personalization options, as well as interface friction and inconsistent support response times.

LinkedIn outreach features are available, but feel basic compared to specialized tools, so if LinkedIn is a core part of your outreach strategy, you may find it falls short.

Overall, Saleshandy is a solid choice if you’re running straightforward cold email campaigns and want to get up and running fast without a steep learning curve.

Questions to ask before choosing sales outreach tools

The most important thing to consider before choosing your outreach tool is which channels your buyers are active on.

Some standard channels are like LinkedIn, email, and cold calling…

If you are targeting construction estimators, that’s an industry that still picks up their phones quite a bit. So cold calling works for that segment.

You may want a tool that can help you manage your cold calling.

Whereas if you’re going after an audience that doesn’t pick up the phone, LinkedIn may be your best bet; If that’s the case, you would want an outreach sales tool that helps you with LinkedIn.

We have clients who are doing well with LinkedIn outreach and direct mail.

Ask yourself, what channel do you want to master, and then from there, you can get a grip on which tools are great for managing that channel for outbound.

Be wary of tools that say “they do it all.”

So many tools are moving to omnichannel. They might say that they specialize in email, LinkedIn, text messages, and even cold calling.

I’m yet to find a tool that does it all well.

Personally, I’ve ended up integrating a few tools together.

For example, I love using QuickMail for sending emails. I think Quickmail is a slam dunk with email outreach, setting up inboxes, and send mails. It’s just a badass tool.

And at the same time, I think Expandi has a ton of LinkedIn outreach options that almost every other Omnichannel tools don’t offer.

Maybe my opinion will change with time as the landscape shifts, but right now I prefer to connect tools using Zapier and Webhooks.

This makes me feel like I’m able to get the best of both worlds, as opposed to looking for an all-in-one solution.

For example, there’s a tool called LA Growth Machine, and I think it does some really interesting things with LinkedIn and cold email, but they don’t have 2FA identification at the time of this writing. And for me, that’s a pretty make-or-break feature.

I think it’s a better option to just use a few different tools if you’re going to need a few different channels.

My opinion on AI in these tools

AI is just like any other “tool”.

Those who use it well get better results. It’s definitely putting alot of power in the hands of people who may not be able to use it well.

Imagine you’re a home builder, and you build everything by hand, and it takes a long time to build a house. But it actually forces you to build a house carefully, when you have to do it slowly.

And yet, today with AI, it’s like we have given everybody, trained or untrained, an entire “woodshed, tool shop, and machine shop” at their disposal.

So in theory, you can build a house in a few minutes, BUT if you don’t know the fundamentals behind a good outreach campaign, essentially, you’re going to be building a house upside down.

Anyone today can build a list of 10 000 buyers buuut I’m pretty sure that list of 10 000 buyers isn’t going to be that great, even if you use all the AI tools at your disposal.

So the question remains – Are you using AI tools wisely?

For example, I had a client tell me they had AI spin out some AI outreach messages, and it was full of em dashes, and it sounded like it was written by a robot. It lacked personalization and was very generic.

You’re not fooling anyone.

But they were able to make it in 10 minutes, and yet it’s just not following best practises.

It’s like we have removed the speed limit on sales outreach with AI, but you still have to know the right way to do things. If not, you’re just going to be sending messages that don’t get a response.

The bright side, though, is that AI has done wonders for qualifying accounts. It does this wonderfully.

You can pull out large lists and use AI agents to essentially triple-check that these leads are, in fact, in your ICP.

With AI, you can apply filters that you couldn’t before, and that’s a win for everyone.

Final Thoughts

By now, you’ve seen a good idea of what’s out there from lightweight cold email tools to full-scale revenue platforms. Each has its place, but here’s the truth: the right software is only half the battle.

The teams consistently booking meetings aren’t using the most expensive tools, but rather they’re reaching the right people, with the right message, at the right time.

Which raises the real question: do you want to spend time mastering outbound tools and strategy yourself? Or would you rather just have qualified leads showing up in your inbox, ready to talk?

At SalesBread, we’re a boutique LinkedIn lead generation agency that does one thing exceptionally well: getting you qualified B2B leads through hyper-personalized outreach and appointment setting.
